Rectangles with two diagonals refer to the image placeholder and the circle refers to the camera lens. The overlaid diagonal lines gathering in the center look like light lines and create the visual of projection used in the theater. The second layer of information includes descriptions of ten major cinema aspect ratios in chronological order. The small circles inherit from the core graphic but use the image of representative film in that ratio.
